Great Fulford Manor

Great Fulford Manor has been in the Fulford family for over 800 years, and today is owned and cared for by Francis Fulford, who is the 23rd Fulford to own the estate.

In 1810 the Fulford estate was described as 'probably the most ancient in the country' with records of a dwelling here for the Fulford family beginning in 1190. 

The present mansion house is Tudor (16th century) with refurbishment from the late 17th century and further remodelling from about 1800.

Intense paranormal activity has been reported here over the years by both visitors and family members alike. 

Some examples include:

• Doors slamming violently 
• Family members being pinned to their beds
• Objects disappearing and reappearing in strange places
• Strange light anomalies

 

During filming of 'Help! My House is Haunted' in 2018 the team captured an audio recording which clearly replays a battle in the grounds. The haunting cries of soldiers can be heard. The team also encountered the spirit of a child in the house.
