HISTORY OF THE MANOR
Our home for the weekend will be a large Georgian manor house in South Yorkshire, near The Peak District.
There has been a settlement on this site since Saxon times and the land is rich in history and energy.
This building has a varied history, having had multiple uses over the past 350 years. If walls could talk they would reveal tales of births, deaths and possibly foul play...but for now we can say no more.
Our guests will enjoy one of the properties private double bedrooms, large reception rooms, open fires, grand sweeping staircase and many other original rooms.

From the moment you drive up the long sweeping driveway, past ancient oak trees and manicured lawns, you will feel transported back in time. After being shown to your bedroom we will gather downstairs for a welcome drink before enjoying a candlelit 2 course meal and an evening of Spiritualism with Jayne and her team.
You will be invited to take part in a range of traditional methods of divination including mirror scrying, dowsing and table tipping. You will also have the opportunity to sit at our antique Victorian Spirit Board in an attempt to make contact with the other side.

After a good nights sleep you will find a variety of breakfast options waiting for you including sausage baps (vegetarian also available), cereals, crumpets, toast, fruit, preserves, juices and tea & coffee.
Throughout the day you will have the opportunity to relax and enjoy this gorgeous manor house and it's grounds, or visit nearby attractions.
Jayne will also be hosting a talk for those wishing to stay at the manor for the day, details of which will be given nearer the time.

After your candlelit evening meal it will be time to begin the full paranormal investigation of the Mystery Manor, incorporating popular ghost hunting equipment, alongside traditional methods. We know of several deaths within these walls, and numerous sightings and paranormal experiences over the years.
As the first group to actively investigate this incredible location, will the spirits make themselves known to us?

After breakfast it will be time to say goodbye to each other, and the the manor...but what memories and experiences will you be taking with you?!

Notes
TRAVEL: The location of the Mystery Manor will be disclosed to guests 48 hours before the weekend is due to commence. Once full balance payments are made (at the latest 6 weeks before the event takes place) an approximate geographical area/postcode will be given to help with travel arrangements. We will also advise of the nearest train station.
FOOD: There will be vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options available during the weekend providing we are notified of any dietary requirements in advance.
You are welcome to bring your own beverages however please bear in mind that anyone considered heavily under the influence of alcohol will not be permitted to participate in activities.
NO ALCOHOL before or during the Paranormal Investigation please. This is to ensure the best possible experience for everyone.
ACCOMMODATION: All bedrooms are doubles for 2 people. If you wish to have a double room for sole occupancy 2 places must still be paid for. Please select the correct option at checkout.
